Design
The giant Mondo Island bird is that of an enormous avian, possessing brown feathers covering most of it's body, dark brown legs, whatever that thing is at the beginning of it's dark brown neck, and a big white beak. The creature has some unusual qualities though, like having white hair-like feathers protruding from the side of it's head and what appears to be a hat adorning it

"The Greeneyed Monster"
Out of jealousy over Captain Englehorn's pet dog Holly, King Kong begins luring Holly to a giant bone in hopes of it getting eaten by the predators of the island when it's distracted. But when a giant bird snatches the dog, Kong has a instant change of heart and engages in battle with the giant avian, throwing a nearby rock at the bird when it flies away. This causes Holly to fall out of the monsters grasp and safely into Kong's arms.

- Kong was originally planned to fight off a Giant Condor for Operation Robinson Crusoe: King Kong vs. Ebirah similar to the Giant Mondo Island Bird fight in the cartoon, but Kong's role was replaced by Godzilla when the project was reworked to become Ebirah, Horror of the Deep.
