A currently-untitled Godzilla ride attraction will be written, directed, and have its VFX supervised by Takashi Yamazaki. Yamazaki's second Godzilla attraction after Godzilla the Ride: Giant Monsters Ultimate Battle (2021), it is slated to open in the summer of 2025 and will be distributed to multiple locations that utilize the i-Ride flying theater system by Brogent Technologies.[1][2]
Development
The ride's existence was announced on May 7, 2025, alongside a comment from Yamazaki: "I'm thrilled to return to Godzilla's world from the passenger seat. What powerful foes will emerge? Where will this ride take us next? As a ride enthusiast myself, I can't wait for my first spin—and I'm working day and night with our team to make this the most terrifying ride in the world". The ride is planned to surpass Yamazaki's previous, Godzilla the Ride, in "scope and scale".[1]
Production
The ride's visuals will be produced by VFX studio Shirogumi,[2] which also created Godzilla the Ride and the VFX for Godzilla Minus One (2023).
