Name
- Main article: Mechagodzilla#Name.
Mechagodzilla's name is a combination of "mecha," which is derived from "mechanical," and "Godzilla" (ゴジラ. Gojira)
Design
Mechagodzilla reuses the design utilized for the original Mechagodzilla from the films Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla (1974) and Terror of Mechagodzilla (1975).
Origins
Mechagodzilla is an enemy of Godzilla who battled him. Little else is known about Mechagodzilla such as whether or not it survived the battle with Godzilla, or its relationship, if any, to humanity and Chibi Mechagodzilla though the latter is aware of Mechagodzilla's existence as he owns much merchandise of the machine.

Chibi Godzilla Raids Again
"Monster Study Session"
In response to Chibi Godzilla's question of "Which foe has been the hardest for Godzilla to defeat?" during a study session, Chibi Mechagodzilla wondered if the answer was "Mechagodzilla" but Chibi Godzilla said he was wrong and briefly expelled him before changing his mind.
"All Chibi Monsters Attack"
Both a toy and a poster of Mechagodzilla were seen in Chibi Mechagodzilla's cabin as he became angry at Chibi Godzilla, Chibi Ghidorah and Chibi Anguirus destroying his model city.
"Chibi Ghidorah Can't Get Along"
The same toy and poster of Mechagodzilla were seen in Chibi Mechagodzilla's cabin as he had to deal with an argument between Chibi Ghidorah's three heads.
"Chibi Godzilla Has the May Blues?"
When Chibi Mechagodzilla was explaining what the May Blues actually were to Chibi Godzilla, a image of Chibi Mechagodzilla waking up was seen with a calendar depicting Mechagodzilla's head also present next to him.
"Chibi Mechagodzilla's Hidden Features"
When Chibi Mechagodzilla revealed his ability to fire the Absolute Zero Cannon, Chibi Godzilla explained that it was the same weapon used by Mechagodzilla and he knows this because he is a Godzilla fan and his dad, Godzilla himself, had to battle Mechagodzilla. This pleased Chibi Mechagodzilla as it gave him something in common with robot monsters rather than home appliances.
"Mechagodzilla Shooting"
Chibi Godzilla and Chibi Ghidorah visited Chibi Mechagodzilla to play a game he had made, with the toy and poster of Mechagodzilla being present once again. When Chibi Hedorah appeared, Chibi Mechagodzilla revealed the game was a pixelated 2D side-scroller in which the player controlled Mechagodzilla. Chibi Godzilla played the game first and shot down multiple fighter jets until fighting the first boss, King Ghidorah, who was destroyed in six hits. Mechagodzilla then destroyed a tower with eight hits from the projectile. Chibi Hedorah then took over and proved himself to be bad at the game and so Chibi Godzilla had to take over again as he reached the second boss, Godzilla himself. Chibi Godzilla refused to fight the boss and so a stalemate ensued in which Mechagodzilla was shown to be invincible. The stalemate ended when the game glitched as result of Chibi Hedorah pressing a random button.
"Easy Godzi Recipes"
The same toy and poster of Mechagodzilla in Chibi Mechagodzilla's cabin were seen as Chibi Mechagodzilla and Chibi Godzilla discussed the latter's hunger.
"Godzilla King Showdown"
Chibi Godzilla hosted a quiz to celebrate Godzilla Day, with the third question being about Mechagodzilla. He stated that Mechagodzilla can fire a rainbow "Space Beam" from its eyes and a "Cross Attack Beam" from its chest, and then asked what ability Mechagodzilla could fire from its nose, with the options of "Booger Bomber", "Snot Splasher" and "Desto-Fire". Chibi Mechagodzilla correctly guessed "Desto-Fire".
"Chibi Minilla Runs Away"
The same toy and poster of Mechagodzilla in Chibi Mechagodzilla's cabin were seen as Chibi Mechagodzilla and Chibi Minilla discussed how both Chibi Minilla and Chibi Godzilla ran away from home (where they were the only two inhabitants) and so Chibi Minilla needed a place to stay.
"Chibi Anguirus' True Feelings"
The same toy and poster of Mechagodzilla in Chibi Mechagodzilla's cabin were seen as Chibi Mechagodzilla checked his social media to see Chibi Anguirus roasting everyone he spoke to after being annoyed at the bizarre orders Chibi Godzilla made for him.
