"Chibi Minilla Runs Away" (ちびミニラの家出 Chibi Minira no Iede, lit. "Chibi Minilla's Run Away") is the 57th episode of Chibi Godzilla Raids Again and the 44th of its second season. Written by Taketo Shinkai and Yuki Hirokawa, it aired on Japanese television on January 29, 2025. An English-subtitled version was released on the GODZILLA OFFICIAL by TOHO YouTube channel on that March 19.
Plot
Chibi Godzilla comes home to find Chibi Minilla waiting for him as their residence lies in disarray. She asks him if he remembers the talk they had earlier, which he confirms. Chibi Minilla asks Chibi Godzilla what she said, and he recounts that she had asked him to help clean more since it's hard work and only she does it. She says that since he remembers, he should help her already, but Chibi Godzilla asks her to remember what he said in response. When she can't remember, he tells her he said "Huh? Hmm... Oh! Hm?", meaning he didn't agree to help her. Enraged, Chibi Minilla threatens to run away and not come back. This angers Chibi Godzilla, who retorts that he'll also run away. Chibi Minilla asks what the point of both of them leaving is.
Some time later, Chibi Godzilla finishes telling Chibi Gigan what happened while sitting in the latter's lawn chair. Chibi Gigan asks why he is at his place specifically before Chibi Minilla arrives with a suitcase and asks Chibi Gigan if she can stay with him until noticing Chibi Godzilla, who says he beat her to it and that this spot is his. Chibi Gigan corrects him, saying that it's his, but Chibi Godzilla ignores him and offers to let Chibi Minilla stay if she really wanted to. Chibi Minilla instead angrily leaves while Chibi Godzilla finishes his drink and asks Chibi Gigan for seconds. Chibi Gigan orders him to go home.
Chibi Minilla is in Chibi Mechagodzilla's house and finishes telling him the story. Chibi Mechagodzilla sees her logic but tells her it might be better to make up with her brother than run away, but she refuses. Chibi Mechagodzilla asks if she wants to stay before laying out the rules: Chibi Minilla has to be quiet to not disturb the neighbors, specifically at 60 decibels; she has to wash her hands and gargle when she gets home; turn the lights off when not using them; leave nothing on the floor; open the windows at 7AM to 8AM for airflow; use two bags of tea for every 1.5 liters of water; fold towels Chibi Mechagodzilla's way, which he says he'll show her later; the room temperature must be 22° Celsius; and the room humidity must be exactly 50%. Chibi Minilla cuts him off before he can list more, asking if this is a house or an art gallery; Chibi Mechagodzilla gives her one strike since she yelled at 85 decibels. Chibi Mechagodzilla asks if she's sick of Chibi Godzilla's laziness before saying he pays much attention to detail. Chibi Minilla asks if he's just being picky.
Chibi Minilla eventually returns home to find the place spotless, having been cleaned by Chibi Godzilla. Chibi Minilla says she missed him and wants to live together again. Chibi Godzilla welcomes her back, and Chibi Minilla asks if they can share cleaning responsibilities so a situation like this doesn't happen again. Chibi Godzilla responds with "Huh? Hmm... Oh! Hm?", and Chibi Minilla demands he answer her properly.
