"Chibi Gigan's Perfect Home" (ちびガイガンの部屋探し, Chibi Gaigan no Heyasagashi, lit. "Chibi Gigan's Apartment Hunt") is the 46th episode of Chibi Godzilla Raids Again and the 33rd of its second season. Written by Taketo Shinkai and Yuki Hirokawa, it aired on Japanese television on November 13, 2024. An English-subtitled version followed on the GODZILLA OFFICIAL by TOHO YouTube channel that November 27.
Plot
Chibi Godzilla and Chibi Minilla watch Chibi Gigan from a distance as he visits a real estate agency. Chibi Minilla remembers that Chibi Gigan's original purpose was to destroy Monster Island, and she and Chibi Godzilla resolve to stop him from staying. They enter to find Chibi Gigan already being interviewed by the real estate agent, Chibi Gabara. Chibi Gigan asks for a room, and Chibi Gabara brightly says that he just so happens to have some. Chibi Gabara recommends an empty, open field when Chibi Gigan says he wants to be surrounded by nature. Chibi Gigan is overjoyed and accepts before finally noticing Chibi Godzilla and Chibi Minilla in the midst of their running commentary. Chibi Godzilla aggressively shouts that he won't let the deal happen. Chibi Minilla joins him, stating that Chibi Gigan can't live on the island if he wants to destroy it, but is surprised when Chibi Godzilla vows to get Chibi Gigan the right property for him. Chibi Gabara agrees and enters "serious mode," asking Chibi Gigan to answer several questions, starting with whether he wants a front door. When Chibi Gigan asks how else he'd enter his house, Chibi Gabara tells him that flying monsters can enter their house through the balcony, and Chibi Gigan apologizes for getting loud and agrees to not have a front door. Chibi Godzilla objects, saying it's too inconvenient, flipping Chibi Gigan's opinion. After typing at length, Chibi Gabara presents Chibi Gigan with a floor plan of his future home with five front doors at different locations and angles. Chibi Gigan is flattered, but backs down once Chibi Godzilla yells he only needs one front door. Chibi Gabara immediately produces a graphic with only one front door at the end of a giant maze separating the entrance and the main house, which Chibi Gigan again accepts until Chibi Godzilla disagrees. Chibi Gabara notes Chibi Gigan said he wants to be surrounded by nature and shows him a normal house sitting in the middle of a pond, exciting Chibi Gigan but not convincing him after Chibi Godzilla and Chibi Minilla point out the flaws. Chibi Gabara presents an even better house, telling Chibi Minilla that it's a vacant lot owned by "another evil organization." Chibi Godzilla is pleased that Chibi Gigan will have the perfect place to plot his evil schemes, though he's worried about Chibi Gigan's back being to the wall of TV screens if he sits in the main chair. Chibi Gigan is sold and says he'll take it.
Some time later, Chibi Minilla and Chibi Godzilla check up on Chibi Gigan, finding him relaxing in a tent in the field Chibi Gabara originally suggested. Chibi Godzilla angrily asks him when he'll start acting evil.
