"Monster Motorcycle Gang" (怪獣爆走族, Kaijū Bakusōzoku, lit. "Monster Explosive Driving Group"[a]) is the 39th episode of Chibi Godzilla Raids Again and the 26th of its second season. Written by Taketo Shinkai and Yuki Hirokawa, it aired on Japanese television on September 25, 2024. An English-subtitled version followed on the GODZILLA OFFICIAL by TOHO YouTube channel that October 2.
Plot
Chibi Godzilla begins teaching Chibi Minilla how to ride a bike, instructing her to do exactly as he says, including pedaling to the speed of sound and beyond, which she isn't so sure of. After Chibi Godzilla says that it isn't fun if she doesn't, she realizes that she's never seen him riding a bike and asks if he himself knows how to ride one. Chibi Godzilla dodges the question, saying what she really needs is attitude and guts while actual knowledge is unimportant. Chibi Minilla dismisses him, but Chibi Titano suddenly appears on his motorcycle and agrees. Chibi Rodan follows him from above, getting angry with Chibi Minilla when she expresses confusion over Chibi Titano's motorcycle while claiming to be his disciple. However, Chibi Titano denies this when Chibi Godzilla asks him, explaining that Chibi Rodan has just been following him around and being annoying, causing him to drop from the sky. Chibi Titano says he respects Chibi Minilla for wanting to ride a bike, which he refers to as a "chopper." He then offers an invitation to join his "bike team". Chibi Minilla is shocked and attempts to decline before being cut off by Chibi Rodan, who opposes her joining the team and begs to be recruited instead. Chibi Titano flatly turns him down, shocking Chibi Rodan so much he doesn't even fully finish his "RO-DOWN" catchphrase, stopping at "RO-" before surprisingly accepting Chibi Titano's decision. He then asks if he can join Chibi Titano's club if he works hard, but Chibi Titano again denies him, finishing the "RO-DOWN".
Chibi Godzilla asks Chibi Minilla if Chibi Titano could teach her how to ride, but he says no before adding that actions speak louder than words. He instructs them to watch and learn before flopping out of his motorcycle, which doesn't even move. Chibi Rodan starts praising the way Chibi Titano faceplanted while Chibi Minilla laments that nobody on the island knows how to ride a bike and gives up. Chibi Titano encourages her to keep trying, saying that running from pain only makes it worse and life gets easier when you face your problems. Chibi Godzilla and Chibi Minilla agree, and Chibi Titano stands back up, saying that since he and Chibi Minilla both don't know how to ride a bike, they're homies. Chibi Minilla accepts this, while Chibi Rodan lands and pleads to also be homies with him, as he became Chibi Titano's disciple "purely for my own selfish reasons." Though Chibi Minilla tells him that's probably why he's been rejected, Chibi Titano finally caves and invites Chibi Rodan to leave with him before falling off his bike yet again. Chibi Minilla asks if they can start with learning to pedal.
