"Welcome to the Death Game" (デスゲームへようこそ, Desu Gēmu e Yōkoso) is the 60th episode of Chibi Godzilla Raids Again and the 47th of its second season. Written by Taketo Shinkai and Yuki Hirokawa, it aired on Japanese television on February 19, 2025. An English-subtitled version was released on the GODZILLA OFFICIAL by TOHO YouTube channel on that April 2.
Plot
Chibi Godzilla wakes up on the floor of a white-tiled, filthy room, asking where he is. Chibi Minilla says she doesn't know, while Chibi Rodan theorizes they were kidnapped in their sleep. Chibi Titano rejoins them, saying he checked the whole room and found no way out, confirming they have been locked in. Suddenly, a TV turns on, revealing a laughing Chibi Gigan who welcomes them to the "death game". Though shocked at first, Chibi Rodan happily says he's seen death games many times in comics and identifies Chibi Titano as the "uncooperative type who rebels against the host" when he objects to his participation. Chibi Titano says he knows he'll make it out and tells Chibi Godzilla, Chibi Rodan, and Chibi Minilla that if they combine their strengths they could all get out together, his cooperativeness disappointing Chibi Rodan. Chibi Gigan says that he's digging their guts, elaborating that by "guts" he means "determination," which he assures them is a good thing and that he's rooting for them. Chibi Rodan is shocked and asks him if he's a real death game host, pleading with the others to do it "right" so it'll be fun. Chibi Godzilla tells him to shut his mouth, while Chibi Minilla notes Chibi Rodan's excitement.
Chibi Gigan silences them and announces the first game: "Old Maid Lies." Chibi Gigan reveals that if they lose, they'll die. Chibi Godzilla says that learning the rules sounds like it'd be a pain, and Chibi Gigan insists that it's very simple and he spent six months testing it. Chibi Gigan explains that all they have to do is get rid of all their provided cards, which Chibi Godzilla confirms before burning them all to ashes. Laughing, Chibi Gigan asks if Chibi Godzilla really thought that would end the game before acknowledging he did say they'd win if they got rid of the cards, thus giving them a pass. Chibi Gigan says the next game won't be as easy, stating that it will be team rock-paper-scissors. The chibi monsters will have to split into teams of three. Chibi Titano and Chibi Godzilla point out that there's only four of them, so they can't play; Chibi Gigan says they're right and lets them all continue. Chibi Gigan warns them the final death game will have only one survivor, exciting Chibi Rodan. He tells them it'll be played with cards, but Chibi Godzilla cuts him off to point out the burnt heap on the table and asks Chibi Gigan if he has another deck. Chibi Gigan doesn't and lets them all win the game. Chibi Minilla exclaims that they were all kidnapped for nothing.

- Chibi Gigan states that it took him six months to complete his death game; coincidentally, "Welcome to the Death Game"'s English subtitled version was released exactly six months after the English subtitled version of Chibi Gigan's debut, "Robot Monster Invasion."
