"Chibi Godzilla Raids Again" (ちびゴジラの逆襲, Chibi Gojira no Gyakushū, lit. "Chibi Godzilla's Counterattack") is the 65th overall episode of Chibi Godzilla Raids Again and the 52nd and final episode of its second season. Written by Taketo Shinkai and Yuki Hirokawa, it aired on Japanese television on March 26, 2024.
Plot
Chibi Godzilla yells to Chibi Ghidorah, Chibi Mechagodzilla, Chibi Mothra, Chibi Rodan, and Chibi Minilla that he's mad; when asked why, he states that his father won't pay him attention or even play catch with him. Chibi Minilla and Chibi Mothra both say he's a big monster, but Chibi Godzilla says he wants to blow humans away like him. Chibi Rodan and Chibi Ghidorah speculate how, the latter's middle head saying that the chibi monster's attacks are ineffective against people. Chibi Godzilla suddenly gets an idea to get Godzilla's attention: creating an Oxygen Destroyer, which he extensively yaps about, due to it being the only weapon to affect Godzilla. Chibi Mothra and Chibi Mechagodzilla grow frightened when Chibi Godzilla states the Oxygen Destroyer can kill every living thing and turn an ocean into a dead ocean, but he ignores their concerns, saying that even though nobody but Dr. Serizawa knew how to make it, he wants to make one anyways to surprise his dad. Finally relenting, his friends all agree, and Chibi Mechagodzilla says they'll all work together.
A montage plays of Chibi Mechagodzilla working tirelessly through the night while his friends all sleep without contributing anything. The next morning, though annoyed, Chibi Mechagodzilla presents the finished Oxygen Destroyer. Chibi Godzilla is excited due to how accurate it looks and dives down with it to meet Godzilla, placing it by his foot and announcing it before asking if he's surprised. Chibi Godzilla yells that this is his counterattack before noticing the ball part of the Oxygen Destroyer is a bowling ball and passes out from his father's roar. Washing ashore, Chibi Godzilla angrily confronts Chibi Mechagodzilla for his treachery, but Chibi Mechagodzilla tells him it's only a replica that looks like the Oxygen Destroyer, not a functional one. Godzilla rises from the ocean, roaring in anger, and Chibi Godzilla promises he'll be big and strong like him one day before asking for another father-son play fight. Chibi Mechagodzilla is supportive until Chibi Godzilla asks him to make Godzilla's unmanned bomb, shutting him down by exclaiming that he "isn't making any more."
