"Chibi Rodan's Psychic Powers" (ちびラドンの超能力, TBA) is the 62nd episode of Chibi Godzilla Raids Again and the 49th of its second season. Written by Taketo Shinkai and Yuki Hirokawa, it aired on Japanese television on March 3, 2024.
Plot
Chibi Ghidorah watches Chibi Rodan pose by a lake, complimenting him. Chibi Godzilla and Chibi Mechagodzilla come by and ask what's going on, and Chibi Ghidorah tells him Chibi Rodan's awoken his psychic powers. Chibi Rodan remarks that his new powers make him feel like he's on a completely different level then his friends and demonstrates his abilities, flashing with purple and blue flames and making a pebble roll with just an arm motion. Chibi Godzilla quickly loses interest, while Chibi Mechagodzilla asks if Chibi Rodan can move heavier objects. Chibi Rodan estimates his powers have a weight limit of 50 grams. Chibi Ghidorah suggests Chibi Rodan should practice so he can lift heavier items, but Chibi Rodan says he doesn't practice since he's already a perfect natural-born genius, so he can do it without effort. Chibi Mechagodzilla says he must have worked hard anyways, and Chibi Godzilla asks if he can do anything else with his abilities. Chibi Rodan says he can fly, angering Chibi Godzilla and Chibi Mechagodzilla before Chibi Rodan says flying with his wings makes it easier but he can fly with just his powers alone. He demonstrates, his face flushing red while he hovers in the air without moving his wings. Chibi Rodan adds that he can read minds, pointing at Chibi Godzilla and saying he's disappointed. Chibi Rodan says he can tell by his facial expressions and starts talking about how he can feel everything his mind thinks. Chibi Mechagodzilla and Chibi Godzilla aren't convinced, so Chibi Rodan activates his abilities again and spawns a transparent bluish-white clone of himself behind him. Chibi Ghidorah asks if it's a spirit that fights for him, but Chibi Rodan says it just appears behind him and does nothing but eat food and make funny faces on its own. The other monsters are somewhat disappointed, which Chibi Rodan points out with his abilities.
